after a long draught of cinema,
finally this week i went twice, two days in a row.
probably not a very good timing as there are not many good movies around.
but, yeah, i still went.
one is paid by the company, so there's no reason to decline the offer.
and, somehow, i just didn't watch the so-called movie at the moment, need for speed.
i, instead, watched Divergent and Her.
her is one of those rare movies that left me really confused at the end of the day.
it brings a really difficult concept of the future, that is just really difficult to understand.
i can't put myself into the movies. i just can't see myself loving Siri.
but, that should not take anything away from the movie.
it's one brave idea, one possible view of the future, especially the male pants!
meanwhile, Divergent is always my type.
the romance failed though. i just felt that they forced it too much in the romance aspect.
other than that, it is good!
i love it when they create this new world, put their system in, and Divergent does it quite well.
one thing from Divergent, they have an exact faction (group) that you have to belong to.
you can't be in two different groups. once you are in one, you will be there forever.
just like any other movie, there are these exceptional people, the different ones, the Divergents.
they know they sort of belong to more than one faction.
the same with our world, we try to put ourselves in that DISC boxes, sanguine or melancholic boxes.
once you are in one group, you will find yourself turning into that mould even more each day passing.
our jobs try to do the same too. the industry you are in. the culture you are in.
the country you are in. the very family you are in.
they are dictating our paths.
although we have plenty of choices, the best might not be there.
the movie might not intend to push it that far,
but at least, i love it when i could be drowned in the movie thinking about this and that.
and for Her, i have been thinking of Scarlett for quite a while!
what a hot fine lady, with a captivating sexy voice! i love her!
