they said winding down your tiring day with blogging is good.
and, so i am trying now.
as it is only a few hours away, finally my country has come to a very interesting juncture.
we are going to celebrate our democratic freedom choosing our own leaders.
as much as many people emphasizing on the importance of winning the legislative election, the people here still only regard president as the most important person in this country.
in my only second participation in the election, this is the closest to the ecstatic party of democracy, which we were educated to have since we were young.
this is how the election needs to be theoretically.
we see many old faces competing again in this election. yet, it still has room for new faces to provide stiff competition. of all people, of course, one of the only announced running vice-president catches the more attention.
he is still categorically young for a candidate, he has a very good business running, and he is of the minority group of this country. i really can't imagine what is happening in his family at the moment. this is one day before all the hardwork he has put come into a test. regardless the result, tomorrow is a big day for him and his family.
at the very last, i am quite excited to cast my vote tomorrow. one thing is dead certain for me. i don't really understand if everyone keeps saying that change is what we need.
for me, why do we need to change what is already good? sometimes we just need to improve. there is no need of re-inventing the wheel. we just need a better indonesia.
have a great day tomorrow. enjoy the party!
