in the other person's driver seat

we talk a lot of being in the other person's shoes. 

apparently driver seat also gives quite the same phenomenon. 

when we are in the driver's seat, we don't know how dangerous we just have been. 

i don't know if it is due to the fact that we drive then we know better about the dangers.

or, we drive then our amygdala is less active. 

similarly, we tend to think other people being reckless, heartless, mean in how they drive their lives. 

but is it true?

or is it just because we haven't been in the driver's seat yet? 

huh. whatever. screw it, just do (drive) it.
