it is a good book from a bunch of good friends for my last year birthday's present.
but, i am not sure if all of them know that this was the present.
i have a feeling that this was more to an idea of that one friend.
me and this friend of mine were suddenly pretty close last year for reasons that are still not clear to me.
perhaps, it was because of a camp that i attended where everyone got a person that we should pray for.
my guess is that i was on this friend's prayer list.
she is really a kind-hearted good girl that can cook very well!
and, somehow her brother shares the same name as mine.
and about the book itself, there are two good points that interest me the most.
one, john mentions that we don't need to survive.
often in our lives, we try to survive, and end up having a mediocre result.
but here is the good news, we actually don't need to survive.
though it is not intuitive, we are in fact not survivors.
we are victors, who are more than conquerors.
what makes terrorist so difficult do deal with?
of course it is the fact that they don't need to survive.
two, we shouldn't even think about our rights.
how many times we demand our rights to be fulfilled?
just reflect on how fierce we can be when we think we rightfully deserve something.
though i don't think i can get along well with this john, but he is a great man!
and, thank you very much for giving me this book my dear friend!
by the way, there is a person that resembles you quite well in my church! :)
