as many folklores started,
this time i'll start with "once upon a time"......
once upon a time,
there was this barista doing his attachment in my branch.
ah ya, some of you might have no idea, actually i am working part-time,
in one of the cafe-chains.
he is one hell of a passionate barista.
one day, i believe, he will make it to the top.
so, in that fateful shift i met him.
i overheard him teaching a new barista.
he asked that new guy,
"do you know what is one important tool that a barista needs?"
a question on theory!
that crossed my mind, and i believe the same did on the new guy's mind too.
then the new barista started answering.
"pitcher!"
"wrong!" replied the passionate barista (pb)
"ermm, spoon?!"
"wrong!"
"... erm... the heating machine??!"
"also wrong~"
starting to look helpless, the new guy gave his last shot,
"milk!!"
okay, we can see how confused our new guy was.
milk is never a tool.
but honestly, i also had no idea what the answer would be at that time.
then our PB asked,
"give up, bro?.."
"yes...."
"okay, so the tool that you need the most is.... passion"
he continued,
"in every cup you make, you have to put your passion in it"
all of sudden,
i was stunned. and this question popped out.
WHAT ANIME AM IN?!!!!
yakitate! japan? born to cook?
but really,
with additions of background music and a blowing wind to blow his hair,
this will make a perfect scene in any hollywood movie.
if he is less a mister-know-everything,
maybe i will take that statement less comical.
especially when he is not yet that knowledgable.
i am sorry bro if one day you read this.
i just didnt expect that coming. lol.
anyway,
buona fortuna fratello barista!
