lucky enough, my ignorance keeps me cool here. still able to write this entry.
......
this post is related to pre-frontal cortex (pfc).
some of you must have heard of it from fred toke last saturday.
it is believed to control the most powerful function of our brain.
experts believed it controls all the high-level cognition.
reasoning, solving, and the list goes on and on.
it can be as powerful as this:
for example:
you have this situation.
a girl-friend of yours slap you in the face.
and you start to think this girl is crazy.
then you decide to avoid this girl.
that is normal...
but, it can go like this too:
you will start to think that she likes you.
because if she doesnt like you she will not even dare to touch you.
she never even touches anybody else.
that's why. she likes you!
and you decide to go after her.
this is normal too....
is this?....
i love to call this simulating a scenario.
the example seems not important.
but this has helped people simulate scenario, take action, and be successful.
some found cure for terminal diseases,
some found the most productive way in producing car.
but,
the other some found the most powerful weapon to kill a lot of the others.
and,
some found peace by seeing a situation from the angle that suits them the best.
we love to do this.
to put us in a good frame, and let others become the antagonists.
everyone loves this. including me.
and when a situation is in the past, it is not helped by our others infamous weakness.
we, human beings, tend to have a false memory, that is replacing everything that you cannot remember with false memory that will make you look even more like a protagonist.
as like uncle ben says it,
with great power, comes great responsibility... :)
use pfc wisely!
